Zuzanna Malek

Leadership & Workplace Coach

I am hugely passionate about helping people to learn, grow, develop, and flourish. I am fascinated by what drives human behaviour and am interested in optimal human functioning.

Guided by an evidence-based and psychologically-grounded approach, I work with individuals and teams to help them unlock their potential and empower them to become better leaders, create better relationships and experience a greater sense of balance and satisfaction.

About

My professional background is in corporate learning and development, where I spent almost 13 years in various roles and industries. Working with people has always been at the heart of everything I did professionally. I completed my first coach training in 2018 and since then, I have continuously developed my skills and knowledge as a coach and facilitator, to ensure that I am able to best serve my clients and hold the space the space that they need to reflect, explore and make meaningful changes.

On a personal note, I am a London-based mother of twin girls. I was born in Poland and grew up in the Middle East. I enjoy travelling near and far, practising yoga and connecting with the awesome beauty of the natural world. Nature is my happy place and you will likely find me walking my dog in the woods.

Approach

I use an integrative approach in my coaching practice, tapping into research-based methodologies, tools and frameworks, including performance coaching, solution-based coaching, cognitive behavioural coaching. I bring curiosity without judgement, listen deeply, and create a safe, reflective yet challenging space to facilitate exploration, raise awareness, gain clarity and make meaningful, lasting changes. A holistic and person-centred approach is at the heart of the work that I do and I am told I have a compassionate and authentic coaching style.

Experience

I work with individuals in a 1:1 setting as well as providing group and team coaching to global corporate clients. I coach all levels of employees, predominantly middle managers and senior leaders, on workplace relationships, career development, transitions, leadership issues, professional burnout and resilience, pre-retirement, building confidence and purpose.

I have coached clients in the UK, Europe, the Middle East and the US, from various industries including finance, tech, media, pharma, advertising, digital, retail, manufacturing, charities, and start-ups.

As an experienced coach, I undergo regular professional coaching supervision and adhere to the ICF (International Coaching Federation) code of ethics.

As a practitioner, I facilitate mental health and wellbeing awareness workshops and also volunteer my time to mentor those starting their careers.

I hold a master’s degree in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology and two postgraduate diplomas: in Applied Social Psychology; and in Managing Organisational Learning & Development. I am accredited with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) at Senior Practitioner Level, and with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC), I am a member of the British Psychological Society Division of Coaching Psychology (BPS-DoCP), the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and the Association for Mental Health First Aiders (MHFA).
