Karen Hartley

Psychotherapist, Speaker & Facilitator

I'm a humanistic integrative counsellor offering a warm empathic approach. I'm easy-going and love to have fun, more importantly, I like to meet new people this is what fuels my passion for helping others. I come from a media background and consider myself a creative at heart, I always try to find ways to inject some of that creativity within the sessions.

About

I am a registered BACP member with extensive training on how to support people. What’s discussed in the room is strictly confidential and provides you the opportunity to discuss your life experiences in a non-judgemental, empathic environment. I won’t offer advice but assist in taking action toward your goals and what’s important to you. The key difference is that the session is all about you and your wellbeing.

Approach

It’s important my clients feel comfortable within sessions. I work in a humanistic, confidential, client-centred way to help you explore problematic areas and support you moving forward. Displaying warmth is important to me as it often sets the tone for the therapeutic relationship.
