Jade Farrell
Fertility Nurse
I am a registered nurse and moved into fertility nursing in 2016. I have since worked in both private clinics and e-health, offering advice, consultations, and education. Caring and approachable, I’m passionate about inclusive, sensitive support, especially for the LGBTQIA+ community. I believe every fertility journey is unique and aim to make care warm, clear, and empowering, supporting people from first steps to treatment with both clinical expertise and emotional understanding.
About
I am a registered nurse graduating in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with distinction. In 2016, I transitioned into the fertility sector in 2016 and it has been a passion of mine ever since.
I began my fertility career working within a private fertility clinic for over 6 years before working in the e-health sector, providing online advice, guidance and consultations and writing articles relating to fertility to enhance education within this area.
I am a very caring and approachable person and I feel this enhances the patient experience. I have a special interest in supporting the LGBTQIA+ community, helping people explore their family-building options in a way that is both inclusive and sensitive, so they can move forward with confidence and clarity.
Approach
I believe that every fertility journey is unique, and my aim is always to provide care that is warm, inclusive, and centred on the individual. I focus on making information clear and easy to understand, so that people feel supported and empowered rather than overwhelmed. My consultations are designed to be a safe and encouraging space, where no question is too small and each step feels a little less stressful.
Experience
I’ve had the privilege of supporting people at every stage of their fertility journey – whether they are just starting to try to conceive, preparing for the future, or going through assisted reproductive treatments. I’ve been involved in all aspects of fertility care, from first consultations and fertility planning through to treatment, support and ongoing guidance. This experience has given me not only a strong clinical foundation but also a deep appreciation of the emotional side of the journey.
