About

Hello, I’m Catherine. I’m a Nutritionist, Health Coach, Speaker and Educator, and I’m passionate about helping people feel better in their bodies and more confident in looking after their health.

I believe nutrition is about far more than what we put on our plates. Our relationship with food, our mental wellbeing, our habits, stress levels, lifestyle and the realities of everyday life all influence how we eat and how we feel.

My approach is practical, personalised and compassionate. I’m interested in helping you understand what your body might need, while also taking into account your relationship with food, your preferences, your circumstances and what feels realistic for you.

I’m a big believer in real food, real nutrition and real life. There is so much confusing and conflicting advice around food and health, and it can be difficult to know what to trust. Rather than giving you another set of rigid rules to follow, I’ll help you find small, sustainable changes that work for you.

I particularly enjoy working with people who want to feel better, understand their health more deeply and develop a healthier relationship with food and themselves. Sometimes that means looking at nutrition, sometimes lifestyle, and often a combination of the two.

Approach

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other, talk through what’s bringing you to nutrition support, and understand your health, wellbeing, relationship with food and goals. We’ll identify a few practical changes that feel useful and achievable for you to try between sessions.

I don’t believe you need to change everything at once. If we work together over several sessions, we can build on what you’ve learned and experienced, gradually exploring what is working, what isn’t, and what might be helpful next.

My sessions are collaborative and conversational. I want you to feel listened to, taken seriously and supported, without feeling judged or overwhelmed. Suggestions are always tailored to your individual circumstances, preferences, lifestyle and relationship with food.

Where appropriate, I may also provide resources, recipes or other practical tools to support you between sessions, and can take relevant health information or test results into consideration.
