As a qualified and experienced coach, I am hugely passionate about helping people to learn, grow, develop and flourish. I am constantly fascinated by what drives human behaviour and am interested in the science of wellbeing and optimal human functioning, with a particular focus on optimism, resilience, and posttraumatic growth.

Tapping into the research and evidence behind coaching psychology and positive psychology, I work with individuals to help them unlock their potential and empower them to become better leaders, create better relationships and experience a greater sense of balance and satisfaction.

About

Love of learning is one of my top strengths and, having trained in performance coaching in 2018-2019, I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology.

On a personal note, I am a London-based mother of twin girls and a rescue dog called Mango, I grew up in the Middle East and was born in Poland. I enjoy travelling near and far, practising yoga and connecting with the awesome beauty of the natural world. Nature is my happy place.

Approach

I see coaching as a partnership and I bring curiosity without judgement, listen deeply and create a safe, reflective yet challenging space to facilitate exploration, raise awareness, gain clarity and make meaningful, lasting changes.

I use a unique, integrative approach in my coaching practice, combining research-based approaches and methodologies (including solution-based coaching, performance coaching, cognitive behavioural coaching and the use of strengths and mindfulness) with a compassionate, authentic coaching style. A holistic and person-centred approach is at the heart of the work that I do.

I undergo regular professional coaching supervision and adhere to the ICF code of ethics.

Experience

As an ICF-accredited coach, I have worked across a broad range of industries, including technology, marketing, charity and finance. I coach professionals at all levels, predominantly senior leaders and middle managers, on a wide range of issues, including confidence, imposter syndrome, communication, trust and relational issues within the workplace/team, personal and professional transitions, anxiety, stress & burnout, exploring purpose & meaning and mental resilience.

Before becoming a coach, I spent almost 13 years in corporate learning & development across various industries, my roles included managing global leadership development programmes, delivering language training, designing training products and mentoring trainers.

Whether you’re trying to overcome anxiety or depression, you’re striving to take your personal or professional life up a gear, or you’re needing help to ease chronic pain or the effects of past traumas, embarking on psychotherapy can help you live a more authentic, balanced and fulfilled life. As therapist, my aim to support you and work with you to identify problems, to give meaning to your experiences, and to discover what really matters to you, so—together—we can overcome obstacles, define meaningful goals, and build confidence in exploring new possibilities.
About me

My professional background started in Corporate Business with more than 15 years supporting employees through programmes of change as well as coaching them through career and personal development. It was then when I notice that people struggled throughout different areas of their life and relationships, sometimes feeling stuck, unhappy, or anxious and struggling to make sense of their experiences or how to overcome them. As a therapist, I will work with you through a journey of self-discovery facilitating a new sense of awareness and understanding, of how experiences, relationships, thoughts, and emotions —from the past and present alike— influence the way you feel, the way you act and the way you live. I support you on developing strategies that allow you to identify and address the root causes of your present difficulties and how you can transform yourself to lead a more authentic and fulfilling life.

Approach

Everyone’s walk in life is unique and there’s no one-size-fits-all solution for therapy. My approach to therapy is existentialist, I believe each person’s journey is unique, I see my role as therapist, as your companion, facilitating and supporting you through your journey. Together, we will look to make meaning of your experiences, ascertain what matters to you in the world, define priorities and build your confidence to explore new possibilities.   Success in therapy is based on trust, I aim to create a confidential space in which you feel heard and safe to be able to share what is troubling you. I bring warmth, sensitivity, humour, a genuine interest in people and candid approach to the exploration of issues.

Expertise

I have an MA on Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regent’s University. I have worked with clients of all ages and ethnicities, seeking help with a wide range of problems including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, bereavement, compulsive or suicidal thoughts, trauma, abuse, and/or relationship difficulties.  I have worked extensible with expats and refugees, clients struggling to adapt to life in the UK after relocating from their home countries. I also have significant experience working with clients suffering from chronic pain and long-term health conditions, clients recovering from life-changing accidents or going through the offset of degenerative diseases like arthritis or blindness.
Suzanne Fowler Evans
Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Antenatal Coach
My name is Suzanne Fowler Evans and I am a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, accredited by the National Counselling Society (NCS) . I have experience working with all kinds of personal issues and offer an individual and gentle approach. Due to my previous work I have a particular interest in relationships and attachment, all aspects of pregnancy, birth and becoming a parent, including birth trauma and post-natal depression for mothers and their partners. I am committed to offering support to both parents during your journey from conception to birth and beyond and help you understand your feelings and enhance your long-term emotional wellbeing.
About

I have been working with the parenting charity NCT, for over 20 years, facilitating antenatal courses and supporting new parents.  I also offer Birth Coaching to individuals and couples, to assist them to make informed decisions around their birth choices.  In 2008 I studied for and gained a BA in Educational Studies (NCT) and I have worked with the charity to develop courses and train new antenatal teachers.

My passion for mental health started early on during my work with pregnant women and their partners. In 2022 I qualified as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor achieving a Level 5 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice (Prof.Dip Psy C).

I am really excited to be able to combine my practical experience and counselling qualification to offer this level of professional support to all soon to be or new parents and facilitate their journey towards better mental health and a more helpful outlook to fertility, pregnancy, birth and beyond.

Approach

I trained in a pluralistic approach which means I combine person centred, psychodynamic and CBT approaches.   My aim is to offer everyone a safe and confidential space to explore how they are feeling and why.

Sometimes life’s challenges can feel overwhelming and having the opportunity to talk through your present emotions and feelings is all you need to see things more clearly. Other times our feelings have deep roots and discovering our unique foundations can lead to a liberating insight into who we are and why.

If you are feeling anxious and not able to cope introducing some CPD can give you immediate tools to deal with the here and now and help you see a more manageable future.

We are all individuals, and my aim is to help you recognise your own thoughts and behaviours and find a way forward for you which will have a positive impact on your loved ones too.

Experience

I have been working with soon to be and new parents for over 20 years, I have a BA in Educational Studies specialising in facilitating antenatal courses. In 2018 I started to train as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, my initial reason was to support new parents and their changing relationships.

However, as my training progressed, I developed more of an interest in all aspects of becoming a parent, including conception, IVF and anxiety around labour and birth. I also became increasingly aware of how our own experiences of being parented can trigger anxiety about becoming a parent ourselves.  During my work antenatally, I hear parents concerns about how to involve their own parents and in laws once the baby arrives, while maintaining boundaries around their own new family. Dads and partners often feel isolated and depressed once the new baby has arrived as relationships shift and change.

I support new mothers through their own anxiety and depression around coping with a new baby. Feeding, lack of sleep, unmet expectations of support are some reasons why early parenting can be so challenging.   We often live in diverse and extended families, combining siblings and stepchildren can bring more situations to negotiate and being a Grandparent can also raise questions and concerns.

My aim is to offer support to everyone involved in welcoming the new baby into the family. Since qualifying as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, I have also studied the Neuroscience of a baby and young child’s brain development and am a qualified 3 Step Rewind Practitioner.
Olivia Tarry
Child Behaviour Specialist
I’m an early years professional and nanny, so I am only too aware of the day to day struggles families face. I’m on a mission to make parenting more enjoyable. Parenting without a shadow of a doubt is the hardest job out there, so anything I can do to help make sense of, simplify or support parents is everything I strive for!

About

There can be so much conflicting advice and even judgement when it comes to parenting. It can feel overwhelming and even lonely. I want this to change, I want parents to feel supported, heard and empowered.I’m used to working closely with parents, I’ve seen hands-on the challenges that come with parenting, but I also know how to support families in getting them from surviving to thriving! I provide you with understanding and bespoke tailored support for your families unique needs with building connection being at the forefront of everything I do.

Approach

I help parents develop strategies to build connection, cooperation, confidence, emotional intelligence, resilience, all to name a few! We explore the nitty-gritty of child development and learn about what it is that your children need from you.I will help you manage your child emotions, formulate good rules and respond to unwanted behaviour positively without damaging your child’s self-esteem.My approach is extremely positive and has a keen focus on setting your kids up for the future in nurturing the right skills in them whilst supporting you in your parenting style, making you feeling confident and empowered.

Experience

I have a BA Hons in Early childhood studies, and most recently I have become a certified parent educator and completed the ‘simplicity parenting’ care professionals course. All my training supports my aim in providing parents with the skills and support they deserve. It is my work with families over the last 12 years, that has made me only too aware of the parenting predicaments that all parents face.Working as a nanny has provided an in depth insight into the support that parents need as well as of course the challenges that children face. I believe the support that we can give to children at home is invaluable in setting them up for success for the future not to mention their day to day lives- Happy kids happy parents and visa versa!

I am a multicultural therapist, trained in Humanistic Counselling (Gestalt) and Integrative Embodied Therapy.

I have a background in yoga, mindfulness and Vedic philosophy. My therapy style is interactive, non-judgmental and collaborative. I provide a confidential and caring counselling service tailored to your individual needs.

My Approach

In my work, I use a combination of talking and integrative embodied therapies through breathing exercises, mindfulness and other creative modalities. My approach is tailored to your needs in a supportive and congruent way.

Why work with me

Besides my commitment and perseverance, I know personally what it’s like to be in a dark place and how opening up in therapy can really help. Through therapy I reconnected with myself and learned how to connect with others in a healthy way. Based on my personal experience, I believe that the therapeutic relationship developed between the client and therapist has deep restorative effects.

I trust that through counselling one can find support, a safe space to process feelings, an invitation to challenge thoughts and perspectives, increased self-awareness and ultimately emotional resilience.

Sarah Curnow Webb
Child Behaviour Specialist
Children’s behaviour can be challenging and working out the best way forward can be tough. Sarah uses her wealth of knowledge, skills and experience to provide a flexible, practical approach to parenting that is individual and family centred.

About

As a mother of 2 grown up girls and a grandparent with 2 granddaughters, I know parenting can be fun and rewarding, but also exhausting, tough and challenging at times. There are so many opinions and judgements out there that it can be easy to doubt your own instincts and how you want to parent. Expectations are high – we feel we should know better, do better and be better parents for our children.I have worked with parents and families for over 30 years. This has enabled me to gain a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience, which in turn enables me to provide a flexible, practical approach to parenting that is individual and family centred.

Approach

Children’s behaviour can be challenging and working out the best way forward can be tough. However, by working through what is actually going on for your child, underneath the behaviour, enables the right strategies to be put in place, rather than a one size fits all approach. There may be behaviour you want to understand better, life events that are causing stress, sadness or anxiety, situations you want to handle differently or even change completely. By having space to think about your child, a deeper understanding of their behaviour will be achieved leading to improved relationships and a calmer family life.Putting changes in place can be difficult, but with guidance, encouragement and support you will be able to understand your child better, have an improved relationship with them and be able to use a ‘tool kit’ of strategies that adapt and work for you.

Experience

I worked for the NHS as an experienced parenting and family practitioner, as part of a behavioural support team and worked closely with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), receiving high level clinical supervision. I am also a qualified integral counsellor.I have completed many evidence-based training programmes including Parenting Positively, Parent Partnership training, Positive Parenting accreditation to deliver Time Out for Parents, Millpond Sleep Training, The Solihull Approach, HENRY and the TEACCH approach in collaboration with the National Autistic Society all of which I use in my daily practice.

Louise Goncalves
Infant Sleep Consultant
Louise is an accredited Holistic sleep coach with 15 years of experience in working with children and families. Louise works with parents across the UK, enabling them to help their children sleep well, with the use of evidence based, gentle techniques and methods.

About

I help parents who are feeling exhausted and at the end of their tether, and want to feel more confident in helping their child sleep well.  Every day, I hear from parents who have been bombarded with advice from friends and family, in books and online. Sleep is a highly opinionated subject. Advice is often conflicting, and lots of it is based on myth.

The overwhelm that comes with trying to filter through the advice can be huge, especially when you are sleep deprived and struggling to get through day to day. When you see your friends babies seemingly sleeping well, it can feel demoralising, especially if the strategies that worked for them haven’t worked for you.

I’m here to help. I’m a Holistic Sleep coach with 10 years of experience in supporting sleep deprived families. I can help you solve your child’s sleep puzzle piece by piece, helping them become the best sleeper they can be. If you’re ready for better sleep, you can get started today.  Book your 45 minute appointment and let’s work together to help you and your family finally get the sleep you need.

Approach

I help families take a stepped approach to improving sleep, so that the sleep coaching journey is stress free and manageable. Often, we’ll start with some quick wins to optimise sleep. When the right steps are in place, small changes can bring big improvements! Sometimes this is enough to help parents get to a place where sleep feels far more manageable. However, lots of parents are naturally keen to keep the momentum going, so from here, we can start tackling some of the bigger sleep challenges you may be facing. Again though, we can take a stepped approach to this, making a few changes at a time, seeing how the child responds.

Experience

I have worked as a Children’s sleep coach for over 10 years, having previously been a Night Nanny and Ofsted registered Child Minder.  I am an accredited Holistic Sleep Coach, and have also undertaken courses with MNT and with The Children’s sleep Charity. I have a wide range of experience, particularly in helping parents to improve sleep as they return to work at the end of parental leave. I am also experienced in supporting children with allergies, reflux, complex needs, ASD, Down’s syndrome, adoptive and foster families, and bereaved families.

In particular, I am able to help with:

  • Helping parents create an evening routine that makes bedtimes an enjoyable part of the day.
  • Creating bedtime routines that make bedtime quick and easy
  • Supporting parents who wish to reduce night feeds
  • Helping parents introduce alternative settling methods
  • Reducing night waking
  • Using gentle methods to help children learn to settle more independently
  • Naps – helping parents establish a predictable and flexible nap routine
  • Naps – working from contact/pram naps to cot naps
  • Solving early rising
  • Navigating through sleep regressions
  • Supporting babies who have sleep issues caused by reflux
  • Supporting families who wish to transition from co-sleeping
  • Supporting parents who are interested in using Montessori sleep methods
  • Helping families where only one parent has traditionally done bedtime, to work towards the other parent being able to be equally involved (especially where children have traditionally breastfed to sleep at bedtime)

After speaking with me, parents often talk about how much better they feel – they feel both more confident in how they can help their child sleep well, and more hopeful about the future.

I am a member of the International Association of Child Sleep Consultants, The Association of Professional Sleep Consultants, The British Sleep Society and The Holistic Sleep Programme.

Testimonial

“Louise is amazing! She’s helped us get our 9 month old daughter from bed sharing and still waking every hour through the night, to sleeping 10 hours straight in less than a week. Her methods are gentle, something that really mattered to us. Louise herself is lovely to work with and we didn’t feel judged in any way. I feel like we finally found the sensible middle way between harsh sleep training and resigning ourselves to not sleeping for a long time to come. I’m returning to work in a week and Louise’s help has lifted a weight from my mind. I only wish we had contacted Louise a couple of months sooner so I’d been less tired for the last couple of months of my mat leave!”

Ed Fraser

Work/Life Balance & Financial Coach
I am someone who believes in and values connecting with people, helping others and personal development. I work with parents with young families who struggle to achieve a successful balance between a rewarding career and a healthy family life. I am a strong believer in being able to look at the whole picture holistically when trying support someone with their balance.

About

I am a qualified Level 7 ILM Executive Coach, ILM Certified Coach Supervisor and Accredited Financial Coach and have been fortunate to have worked across a variety of industries. Working in London’s financial services sector, I have supported both individual executives in the development of their careers, and organisations in the building of effective teams. Further to this, I have a strong background in the education sector both as a secondary school Head of Department, leading and coaching teams in their professional development, and as an external coach working with other senior leaders.

Most recently, I have been working with a wide range of people on improving their own Financial Wellbeing. I am passionate about working with individuals who find managing their finances challenging. For these people the thought of talking about their finances can alone be stressful! I have been there myself after growing up in a world where discussing money was “rude”. I know that part of the battle might be calculating the numbers, but much of it is a mindset that holds people back from feeling confident and in control of their finances. This is where I can help people feel more comfortable with the uncomfortable topic of finances.

Outside of the office you would find me running in circles after my dog or two young children, cycling around the country lanes of Berkshire or following my sporting passions of cricket and rugby.

Approach

When I work with parents with young families, our conversations are focused on being person centred but also looking at the big picture of balance between having a rewarding career and trying to achieve a healthy family life. I aim to work on exploring the root causes of any issues associated with this balance, not the surface level symptoms. To do this, I build a safe space for each person where they feel they can talk openly about what they want to develop. Within this environment, I will ask questions that challenge thinking and provide opportunities to reflect on someone’s own words and life. Importantly I ensure that each person feels like they have some clear goals to work towards and some concrete actions they will take forward that will help with their balance at home and work. Many of the benefits of this include:

  • Greater enjoyment of life (in and outside of work)
  • Less time feeling guilty for the time spent at work or with family
  • More opportunities to relax
  • Increased feeling of control
  • Improved level of peace
  • Opportunity to gain some perspective
  • Chance to create time for themselves and family
  • Building stronger relationships
  • Improving moods
  • Better sleep

Experience

  • 100+ hours coaching practice with diverse clients;
  • Academic and commercial background;
  • Ethical, confidential, person-centred coaching practice based on strong values of equality, diversity & representation;
  • Relationship & partnership development experience with a wide network of contacts;
  • Confident presentation and workshop facilitating skills;
  • Highly personable and persuasive communicator
Bianca Williams
Financial Coach

Bianca is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and coach who believes that everyone – regardless of how much money they currently have – deserves to be wealthy. During 10+ years helping companies and high net worth individuals maintain and grow their wealth, she noticed that while those with a high net worth have access to high-touch expertise and personal attention to help them grow their wealth. “The rest of us”, conversely have a wealth of information (tips, pre-recorded courses, or DIY planning tools) but not much high-touch personal guidance in filtering out the noise to find solutions which fit our unique circumstances.

What started out as helping family and friends using the cashflow modelling skills learned as an investment banker grew to gaining the globally-recognised CFP™ designation to deal with complex financial planning. She believes that while practical strategies are useful, what may be even more important is figuring out the purpose our wealth serves and overcoming some of our own unhelpful behaviours, attitudes and assumptions that might get in our way.

About

During my career in banking, I became acutely aware of the difference between the level of expertise and individual attention that high net worth individuals can access, and the rest of us. I decided to become the person who would address that gap for my clients, gaining the globally-recognised Certified Financial Planner™ designation in the process. But while financial planning strategies might be sufficient when maintaining and growing existing wealth, at the start of our wealth journey we also need to shift our internal money mindset (attitudes, beliefs, and behaviours) in order to implement these strategies.

Now I help people like myself, my family and friends to build and maintain wealth on their own terms: efficiently growing their resources to give meaning and happiness in life, free from worrying about how long it will all last. Money becomes not an end in itself, but one of many resources we use to attain and maintain our best lives.

Approach

I break down the complex world of personal finance: interweaving financial coaching (to educate and motivate) with financial planning (to organise and strategise). In our relationship I bring the knowledge of how finances work and the various solutions available out there for you. You are the expert in yourself, your life, your circumstances, dreams and goals – and ultimately, what works for you.

We bring our respective expertise together to jointly plan for success by:

  • Exploring and analysing what your unique idea of a prosperous lifestyle looks like
  • Understanding your current circumstances, needs, concerns and behaviours; and how to improve them towards your purpose
  • Using cashflow modelling to map out the concrete steps you can take to achieve your goals, while assessing and mitigating the impact of possible life-changing events
  • Motivating, encouraging and keeping you accountable for taking the actions that will make and keep you wealthy
  • Reviewing and updating the plan as life, circumstances, and priorities change.
  • Every client is unique, so their reasons for engagement and key takeaways also vary.
  • Some common client outcomes include:
  • Increased confidence in their financial knowledge and ability to make sound financial decisions
  • Progressively reduced stress about money
  • Increased ability to withstand financial shocks
  • Feeling “on track” towards an exciting vision of their future
  • Peace of mind that loved ones are taken care of
  • Specific goals, such as debt reduction, getting on the property ladder

Experience

Michelle Cooke
Child Behaviour Specialist
Michelle is an experienced parenting practitioner and social worker who has worked with families for over 20 years. She has a naturally empathetic approach and brings her wealth of experience to help families in need of her support. She makes sure to tailor her approach to the needs, preferences and circumstances of each family and will work with you to understand what is going on and how best to support you.

About

I’m a working mum of 2, with a 12 year old boy and a 10 year old girl, so I’m acutely aware of how hard it can be to juggle work and home commitments. At its best, family life can be a joy – filled with laughter and love – but let’s be honest, it’s not always fun. It can be mundane, exhausting and challenging. So often you feel like you’re not being the parent you want to be or the professional you want to be. Often you can feel like you’re falling short on both. Just when you think you’ve finally cracked it, understand your child, and feel confident in your parenting – suddenly something changes and you feel like you’re doing it all wrong again. My work with parents is all about helping them to develop strategies that will build confidence, reduce stress, and bring a little more of that elusive joy element back into family life. I love supporting parents to understand children’s behaviour, work out how they want to parent and what changes would work for their child, so that they can enjoy being together as a family and feel confident in their parenting.

Approach

No parent is the same and each child is a complete individual, so it is always really important to work together to understand the behaviour and get to know what will work for you and your children. My approach is carefully tailored to the needs, preferences and circumstances of each family who chooses to work with me. One size does not fit all, and I would work with you to understand what is going on and how best to support you.My 20 years’ experience supporting families has given me a range of approaches to draw on, not to mention 12 as a parent! At the heart of all these approaches is a focus on understanding what is behind the difficulties that parents are facing. Every child can be challenging at times, for a whole host of reasons. Life is busy and in the moment we often react quickly and instinctively, and not necessarily how we hoped we would. If you choose to work with me, you’ll have the time and space to think through what is happening for you and your child. You’ll have the opportunity to understand and unpick challenges, develop and test new strategies to identify what works for you and your situation. You might find, for example, that you develop alternative ways of responding to your child so that you are able to reduce a difficult behaviour over time, or preempt it from happening in the first place. place.

Experience

I am an experienced parenting practitioner and social worker, working within the field for over 20 years. I am an accredited Parenting Positively practitioner and hold a Diploma (DipSW) and a Masters in Social Work.I have completed additional training on a wide range of subjects including working with challenging behaviour, Autism, additional needs, sensory processing, conflict resolution and solution focused practice. Prior to becoming a private parent coach, I worked within frontline social care and managed a Family Support Team. I also worked in a behavioural support team, working closely with the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) supporting families where children exhibited extreme challenging behaviour and/or had additional needs.

Colette Ricaud
Child Behaviour Specialist
Blending two different roles, Colette uses her knowledge and experience as a Parenting Consultant and a Counsellor to work with and become an advocate for families.

About

As mum to three boys, I understand, from personal experience, the challenges of raising children, running a business and finding time for yourself for that all important self-care.“Nothing brings me more pleasure than when a parent, who has tried everything else and doesn’t know which way to turn, says ‘I can finally see how he sees the world’.I have been working with families and professionals for over ten years and have found that every parent wants to feel supported and to know that they are not alone. I know first-hand what it is like to feel different; to feel out of control and helpless. I do my utmost to ensure parents, carers and professionals won’t feel that way when they work with me.

Approach

All children at some point can present with behaviours that feel difficult to manage. As parents, it is our job to look at the behaviour and interpret what may be causing it. It could be due to anxiety, bereavement, confusion or behaviour relating from a diagnosis. Working in a collaborative manner to help you understand where the behaviour comes from, I will work with you, to help you understand your child’s world and implement strategies suited to your family.

Experience

I am a qualified Counsellor and an accredited member of the National Counselling Society.I am an accredited Incredible Years and Triple P Teen facilitator, whilst also being trained in a variety of other parenting programmes.I have also completed a variety of professional development trainings on Autism, ADHD and Sensory Processing.

I am a qualified and experienced BACP registered therapeutic counsellor with number of years’ experience in NHS and Private settings. It is my belief that counselling is not about seeking perfection, but is, rather a process towards acceptance of the whole self. To this end we explore the influence of your past, the realities of your present and the significant events impacted your life and the way you react to world. We all have our own unique stories to tell. Our stories hold significant clues about the struggles we experience in the present with our own needs and relationships. By exploring these things through therapy, we may open up new possibilities and maybe even re-write our stories.

About Me

Although my approach is drawn from several different theoretical perspectives which are Existential, Humanistic, with Person-centred theory as its foundation. I deeply believe that the quality of our relationship is key to progress. I meet you as an individual with your unique way of experiencing the world and your troubles and seek to gain insight into how you experience your confusion, worry, discomfort, distress, or whatever it is that brings you to therapy.

The first session comprises an assessment to hear your story, get a sense of who you are and give you the opportunity to meet me, learn about my approach in order to decide whether you would like to engage with therapy and whether I am the right counsellor for you.

Practice

I am an integrative Relational counsellor, which means I combine a variety of therapeutic approaches (Gestalt, Humanistic, Integrative, Person centred, Psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems Therapy) so that as we work together, I can adapt to your needs.

Louise Harris
Therapist
Louise is a qualified therapist and a registered member with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She also has an MSc in Psychology and has a keen interest in our social constructs and positive psychology. She has a passion for helping parents and adults through all the challenges that life may throw at them. She trained as a humanistic therapist (Person-centred, gestalt and psychosynthesis), but also integrates psychology and her knowledge of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Transactional Analysis, inner child and mindfulness to be able to tailor her approach to your needs.

About

I’ve worked with numerous parents in schools, a children’s centre, and addiction rehab and through private practice across London and Kent and currently solely online. I’ve also worked with issues that new parents and couples face from conception to supporting parents with older children. As a parent myself, I can empathise with the journey, experiences and situations that life can throw at us as human beings. I hold no judgments on behaviour that can be created from our experiences. I am passionate about growth as a therapist and person – we are learning every day. Paul Bulos
Executive Leadership & Wellbeing Coach
Paul is a highly personable, empathic and supportive coach who is able to draw on his extensive commercial background in the publishing and media industries, as well as his own experience of juggling a demanding career with busy family life. He has a particular interest in wellness and mental health, and having personally experienced the benefits of coaching in helping him to make positive changes, he is committed to helping others overcome their challenges, unlock their full potential and achieve all that they want to, both personally and professionally.

About

I have had a 30-year career in the media & publishing industry where I have held senior management and leadership roles. I now work at the Royal Holloway University in a leadership role in the Organisational Development and Diversity team. It was my own experience of feeling ‘stuck’ that first led me to enlist the support of a coach, and having found the process transformational, I decided to train as a coach myself. I have since qualified as an Executive & Leadership Coach & Mentor (ILM Level 7), and I now combine my career with private client work, taking a particular interest in supporting my clients in their working life balance and wellbeing and supporting them to get ‘unstuck’ and realise their full potential and find more fulfilment at home, at work, with their family and in all areas of life. As well as having a demanding career, I am also a dad of two teenagers, and as such I’m acutely aware of the challenges of juggling the demands of work with family life.

Approach

My approach with clients is highly person-centred. I value each client as a unique individual and hold strong values in terms of equality, diversity, representation and inclusion. I also believe that you are your own best expert, and that my role as a coach is to support you in finding your own path – faster than you would alone – and to help empower you to walk it your way.In practice, this means that I work hard to create a safe, respectful space for you to talk honestly about your issues, be they personal or professional, and explore ways to overcome challenges so that you can move forward with a greater sense of clarity and purpose. I listen empathically, question meaningfully and will challenge appropriately as you work towards your own goals. My aim is to help you take stock and rediscover your own values and priorities, and to become aware of any negative patterns of behaviour or self-limiting beliefs that are holding you back. I encourage you to embrace positive strategies for change and growth, and I will work with you to find solutions and strive towards a greater sense of confidence, balance and wellbeing.

Experience

As a qualified ILM7 Executive & Leadership Coach & Mentor, I have worked with clients from varied backgrounds and professional levels, offering solution-focused coaching arising from a range of challenges and circumstances, including: redundancy, career change, stepping into leadership roles, setting up a new business, returning to work after a parental break, stress and anxiety, imposter syndrome, confidence and performance anxiety, work-life balance and recovering from burnout.I am a qualified Mental Health First-Aid Champion and have established and led corporate Wellbeing Networks, championing mental & emotional health in the workplace. I’m also a Parent Mentor, working alongside my employer’s Working Families Peer Group. In each capacity, I have found that coaching can be invaluable in helping people clarify their aspirations, crystallise their beliefs and make positive changes that lead to happier, healthier, more successful ways of being.

Charlotte Worth
Personal & Professional Coach

As an experienced and qualified coach, Charlotte helps you to overcome all kinds of work/life challenges by offering a comfortable space to talk and reflect on your issues, before setting achievable goals. Through tapping into your strengths, encouraging you, and helping you to see your barriers, she can help you improve self-confidence, tackle imposter syndrome, and enable you to develop ways to fell less overwhelmed and manage stress. Alongside this Charlotte also specialises in supporting new parents to navigate their way confidently back to work after parental leave, as well as working with others to support career changes, performance enhancement, developing stronger interpersonal skills and relationships, and coaching new managers to become the leaders that they aspire to be.

About

Specialising in professional development Charlotte enables her clients to move forward in their careers by unlocking their full potential so that they can achieve their goals and become their best self. Charlotte will support you to see through the negative stories that you tell yourself and eliminate any fears that are holding you back. Through the coaching process she will help you to realise your strengths and talents and arm you with tools that will allow for lasting transformation in both your work and personal life.A particular focus for me is returning to work after maternity leave. As a mum of two boys, I have experienced first hand the multitude of emotions felt when returning to work after maternity leave and understand that for many women navigating that first year back can be challenging. Battling hormones, loss of identity, confidence levels and the pull between work and home can be destabilising and may lead to parents leaving their job or not reaching their full potential, as they can’t quite traverse successfully through the initial year back.

Approach

There are certain points in our career when we find ourselves at a junction, not knowing whether we should continue to move straight on, try a new direction or take a break and just enjoy the scenery. It could be that the sheen on your once brilliant job has worn off and you need to find something else that lights that spark or you are feeling frustrated that the promotion you really want always seems just beyond your grasp. Perhaps a work challenge just seems a little too difficult to master and you just need to find a new angle to approach it from; or maybe you just need a bit of a confidence boost and need to work out a way to get your mojo back!As a coach I feel that the best way to work through these challenges and to really see change is to simply talk about it and help you to create a picture in your head of where you would like to be or who you would like to be. Once the destination is clear, as your coach, I will then support you in mapping out the path to get there. I do this by using The GROW model, which uses positive conversations to help you look at your current situation, identify any internal or external barriers that might be blocking you, such as old beliefs and mindsets. I then enable you to realign them so that you can then focus on the actions you are going to take to achieve your goal.

Experience

As an ICF accredited coach I have worked across a broad range of industries including entertainment, retail, charity, and finance. I’ve worked with prominent individuals and high level managers in all industries, helping to develop their talent and achieve the success they desire. Before becoming a coach, I worked for many years as a Radio and Events producer for the BBC, a role that very much had coaching at the heart of it. Nurturing, encouraging and empowering Radio and TV presenters and musicians to be their best.

Catherine Pohl
Nutritionist

Catherine is a Registered Nutritionist (mBANT) and Health Coach who is passionate about helping her clients thrive. Specialising in energy, hormones and digestive health, she has over six years of clinical experience helping individuals to radically change their health through diet and lifestyle.

About

Hello, I’m Catherine. I’m a Registered Nutritionist (mBANT) and Health Coach and I am passionate about helping my clients live their lives to the best. I support good health through personalised functional nutrition and lifestyle medicine. I use nourishing, real foods that fuel our bodies and minds to restore natural balance and achieve their true potential.

I put a lot of emphasis on real food, real nutrition, real life. Why? Because we are increasingly bombarded by dietary advice which is complicated, conflicted, and downright confusing. Our lifestyles are busy and end up being driven by marketing and convenience. I want to help you take back control of your health by coaching you to nourish your body with the simple, affordable and enjoyable foods that it needs to make you look and feel amazing.

I LOVE my job, I LOVE working with people who are serious about regaining their health and feeling great, and I LOVE seeing the difference it makes to people’s (entire families’) lives when they have the support and coaching that they deserve.

Approach

Prior to the initial session, you will be asked to fill out a short health questionnaire including a one-day food and lifestyle diary. We’ll then discuss your health and wellbeing concerns and goals and figure out what changes you can start making today for maximum impact. The session is a two-way conversation so that all the suggestions are tailored to you to be practical, manageable and enjoyable. That means they will also take into account your preferences, tastes and lifestyle to ensure they are achievable, and I will support you with recipes, shopping lists and other resources that you might need. About

Hi, I’m Joanna and I am a Certified Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist. My passion for wholesome, nutritious food and the impact it has on a person’s health and wellbeing is at the heart of my practice. I do not believe in diets and instead focus on educating the client to make better food and lifestyle choices that will be sustainable long term. Each person’s nutritional needs are different, what works for one person may not work for the next, therefore a personalised approach is key. I help people and their families reach their health goals, find their energy and vitality and discover their full health potential.

Having myself suffered for many years with digestive complaints, and finding that very few things helped I decided to see a naturopathic nutritionist and I have never looked back. I changed the way I ate and viewed food. I have two children and providing balanced nutrition for my family is of utmost importance. As a nutritional therapist my goal is to empower people to take control of their health and as a result reap the benefits.

Approach

I offer one to one 45-minute consultations focusing on your health goals. Prior to the initial consultation you will be asked to complete a short questionnaire as well as a two-day food diary. During the consultation we will discuss your health concerns and goals as well as analysing your food diary. I will explain how your current diet and lifestyle may be affecting your health and how we can make changes to meet your health goals. You will receive an individually prepared one-page plan that is easy to follow and achievable.

Experience

I am a certified Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist. Having studied at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London and Brighton I am a fully insured member of the British Association of Nutritional Therapists (BANT) as well as being registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and the Nutritional Therapy Council (NTC).

About

I live in Chester, Cheshire with my husband and my three boys. Being the mother of three boys means we spend a lot of time outdoors!I enjoy keeping fit and healthy by playing netball, practising yoga and walking our three Labradors! I enjoy organising parenting events in the community and volunteer for The National Childbirth Trust (NCT), signing up local businesses as breastfeeding friendly. As a mother I understand that babies don’t come with a manual. Those early weeks can be especially challenging as you and your baby learn to navigate your way through your new life together. When I felt stressed or anxious that I was doing the best for my baby, someone once said to me ‘just remember, you are the centre of the universe to a tiny human you made from scratch. You are kind of a big deal!’ That gave me the confidence to trust my instincts and believe in myself.Breastfeeding is such a wonderful gift… it calms, it nourishes and it builds relationships. If in doubt….offer the breast.

Approach

I work with families holistically and will support you on your journey from pregnancy to parenthood. I am there for the whole family and will work in partnership with you to help you reach your breastfeeding goals. Breastfeeding may be natural, but it’s a skill that you and your baby learn together and it can take some practice. With the right support you will achieve your goals.

The packages of support I provide include:

  • Antenatal package
  • The development of your unborn baby
  • Changes for you and your partner
  • Your health and wellbeing
  • Practical tips for preparing for birth
  • Infant feeding choices
  • Preparing to breastfeed (including twins and multiples)
  • Practical tips for caring for your baby
  • Postnatal package
  • Getting to know your baby
  • How do you know breastfeeding is going well?Breastfeeding assessment and care planning
  • Breastfeeding challenges
  • Expressing and storage of breast milk
  • Breastfeeding and returning to work or studyIntroducing solid food
  • Allergies and intolerances
  • Combination feeding
  • Formula feeding (including responsive bottle feeding)Common feeding issues such as reflux, wind and colic.
  • Weaning gently from the breast

As every family is unique, the support I provide will be tailored to you and your family. To prepare for our sessions please have your child’s red book available.Assessments will be completed together and care plans will be reviewed to ensure you receive the best quality care.
