Giulietta Durante

Nutritional Therapist

Hello! I’m Giulietta, a Nutritional Therapist specialising in female hormone health. I’m driven by a deep curiosity for how the body works and a passion for demystifying women’s hormones. My own experience with fibroids sparked a lifelong interest in hormone health and the power of nutrition to support it. Now, with over fifteen years’ experience, I help women understand their bodies, balance their hormones and feel confident in the choices they make for their wellbeing.

About

I graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Nutritional Therapy from the University of Westminster in 2013 and soon after my own hormonal challenges led me to specialise in the field of hormone health. At 35 I was diagnosed with fibroids (benign growths that develop in the womb) and I quickly became frustrated by the lack of nutrition support and guidance available for this condition. This experience motivated me to learn everything I could about hormones so I could take charge of my own health. I quickly realised that many of my clients needed the same kind of clarity and support and it has been a privilege to make this work my focus ever since.

Approach

As a self-confessed science geek I love to weave hard science with more holistic ways of helping the body achieve hormonal balance. I’m also a big fan of using the Functional Medicine approach to health which means always trying to work out WHY someone is experiencing a specific symptom (think of me as your personal health detective – I leave no stone unturned!)

Before a consultation you will be asked to fill in a short questionnaire which we will then run through during your call. We’ll identify your health goals and I will explain to you what I think is going on and how we can target it with nutrition (I feel very strongly that everyone deserves to understand their hormone health). I will then put together a list of recommendations personalised to your needs along with some optional supplement suggestions.

I am also happy to review test results you may have carried out elsewhere (this always lights up my inner science geek!)

So, expect to learn lots and to walk away with a clear actionable plan to make lasting changes to your hormonal health.

Experience

I have over fifteen years experience of working in the field of female hormone health and I have helped hundreds of women understand their bodies better and achieve more balanced hormones. I have worked with every common hormonal condition including endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). I also have extensive experience of supporting women with heavy periods, irregular or light periods, PMS, breast tenderness, hormone headaches (and any other weird and wonderful hormonal symptom you can think of!) I have also created courses and programmes to support women through perimenopause and menopause.
