Kate Davies (RN, BSc (Hons), FP Cert is a registered fertility nurse consultant and IVF coach with an honours degree in Sexual Health. She is a specialist in fertility, including both natural conception and IVF, bringing a holistic approach to addressing fertility issues, offering expert guidance and coaching on natural conception methods, as well as IVF techniques. Kate understands the emotional challenges  involved in fertility treatments, providing emotional support to help you feel supported and empowered throughout your fertility journey.

Kate has a deep knowledge of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), and can support individuals dealing with this condition, aiming to optimise fertility and manage symptoms. For those considering donor conception, Kate also helps patients through the complex emotional and medical decisions involved, providing support and informed advice. She is also an expert in endometriosis and can support those with the condition who are looking for strategies to manage pain and improve fertility outcomes.

Founded 6 years ago by fertility nurse consultant Kate Davies (RN, BSc (Hons), FP Cert ‘Your Fertility Journey’ is an online natural fertility clinic delivering expert advice and support via video consultations. After a 20-year career in the NHS as a specialist nurse and NHS manager in Gynaecology, Sexual and contraceptive health and fertility, Kate was frustrated with the lack of support and high-quality advice for women and couples who were struggling to conceive naturally and founded ‘Your Fertility Journey’. 6 years on, Kate now has thriving practice and a job she loves. ‘Your Fertility Journey’ has developed to include a team of dedicated, passionate and knowledgeable specialists all with one goal, to help women successfully navigate their fertility journey.

Approach

Kate and her team of highly skilled nurses offer high quality evidence-based advice to women and couples who are struggling to conceive, to optimise their fertility and coach women whom are going through fertility treatments. The team have a wide range experience in women’s health, natural fertility, PCOS, sexual health, IVF, coaching and counselling. During a 45 minute consultation, Kate and her team will:

  • Take a detailed medical history;
  • Conduct a lifestyle assessment which will look at nutrition, occupation, stress, toxins, drugs, alcohol, frequency of sex, exercise, smoking, weight and much more;
  • Recommend and arrange specific blood tests and scans based on need;
  • Private referral to a Fertility Specialist for tests and treatments;
  • Recommendations on fertility supplements;
  • Teaching of fertility indicators (temperature, cervical secretion changes, and changes in the position of your cervix throughout the month) to identify ovulation and assess hormonal health;
  • Diagnosing and advising on any potential fertility issues
  • Communication with your doctor/specialist as required and to ensure that you are offered the appropriate investigations and treatments within your local area.
